I am a new graduate RN from Los Angeles area. I have heard many terrible stories about us not finding employment in this terrible economy. What should we do to survive this downturn?

I wish I had a clue. I just graduated in May and have had no luck yet. So many hospitals don't have any new grad openings. And the ones that do are very competitive. No one told me about this problem when the talked about the nursing shortage.

yes its the worse school you could get into graduated from there in 2008 and we have a lawsuit against them because they did not take us to any hospitals and did not teach had to continue my education somewhere else and i still owe them. you should check to see how many lawsuits they have.
