In the nursing field Iwould like the definition of abuse is it having enough staff to meet the needs of your patients? OR CUTTING staff to save money at the expence of patients and staffs health and lives? call me curiuos and caring

Abuse is when a resident is physically or emotionally by a caregiver. They will throw the book at you if you harm someone in your care. I came across this article on the internet where companies will buy a chain of nursing homes, cut costs and then sell the chain to the highest bidder. It isn't about patients, it's about the bottom line.
