Nursing Home Administrator

Hello, I have a retail management background with over thirty years experience and a BA degree. I wish to make a career change and have been accepted into an AIT program. I would like to have some opinions on whether this would be a wise move for me. I have a strong interest in the field but reading some of the comments posted here I'm not sure I would find anything after my intership and licensing is completed next year.

Dennis I made a change about 13 years ago. Most companies if they bring you into an AIT program are grooming you for possible positions open or coming open. Something to ask the company you are considering. Don't be discouraged either, there is a need for good leaders weather they come new into the business or have worked in it for a time.
