It is a good program; however, speaking from the Missouri side, it was difficult to get in. They get a lot of applicants and I was one when I graduated with a bachelor's in business administration, and graduating with a masters in gerontology. However, I was told I didn't have enough "experience". Go figure. I ended doing an upaid AIT program with one of my instructors who was a preceptor and learned that way. Now I'm am an administrator. AIT programs are hard to come by, but I'm sure there is someone out there who is willing to train you. Good luck. |
