Contact the Nursing Home Administrator program in California via the internet. They are pretty good about responding via email.

This link will answer the majority of your questions. There is also information about how to obtain a list of preceptors from the State of California.

You can download the guidebook on becoming a California Nursing Home Administrator at: www.qchf.org/NHA0906online.pdf

It covers topics such as how to get license reciprocity in California, as well as providing forms and reference materials.
