Greetings,I am stumped at finding employment as a LNHA.It is crazy how the employer expects you to have at least a min. of 2 yrs. of work experiance. How are you suppose to get work experiance if no one gives you a chance. I have a masters degree in health care administration and two bachelor degrees. I have the knowledge and the opportunity I just need a chance to prove myself. If anyone has any suggestions please post them for me. Also if anyone knows a recuriter please refer me to them.

Douglas in Montgomery, Alabama said: I came across this forum while searching for more info on nursing home administrators. I'm serving on a search committee looking for an administrator for a pediatric skilled nursing facility. We have 58 residents & 120 employees. We are licensed to care for children at birth until they reach the age of eighteen.
Working in a facility like this is more of a calling than a job. Our Center exists to serve the nursing, medical, physical and psychosocial needs of children (infants to 18 years of age) who because of severe developmental disabilities require ongoing residential care in a skilled nursing facility. Our goal is to afford each child an experience of the fullness and goodness of life to the limits of his/her ability. You may contact me by email if you are interested.

How do I contact you?

Would he take someone with no experience but has 17 years in senior care?
