Hey all, I have a OT Masters Degree from Brunel University in the UK. I might be moving to the US in the very near future. Does my British Masters degree count in the U.S. or will I need to take further training in the U.S.? |

I believe that you might need to pass the licensing exam for the respective state that you intend to practice in. Considering that you're from an English speaking country, I don't believe they'll give you a hard time. Good luck! |

I think it might also depend when you go it because of as of 2007 here I think, you need to have a master's degree on OT. But if you have a bachelor's in OT from before 2007 I would imagine it would be ok. AOTA has a helpful website. I'm sure there's some contact information or even more information about it to help you. :) |
