Does anyone know what the scoop is on the company "Cranial Technologies"? They employ primarily OTs and PTs to treat abnormal head shapes. Here's what their website says:
As a Clinician, you will treat infants 3 to 18 months of age, using the DOC Band to correct abnormal headshapes. Pediatricians and parents alike look to our Clinicians as the expert in diagnosis and treatment of plagiocephaly. Most of our Clinicians are Physical and Occupational Therapists. PTs and OTs are an excellent fit with their background knowledge of symmetry and asymmetry, cervical anatomy, torticollis and infant/toddler development.
Has anyone ever worked for this company or done similar work? I think it sound interesting, and may be a great niche area for OTs, especially new grads... Any thoughts/opinions/experiences would be greatly appreciated!
