I'm working on a few gen eds right now but hope to apply to an OTA program next year. Living near Chicago, Wright College seems to be my only realistic option. Brown Mackie in Merrillville, IN could be an option but I think the commute would be too much.

Can anyone share their opinions on these schools as far as the OTA program goes? Quality of the school, ease of admissions, class schedule, etc.

I'm currently a stay at home mom and looking for the best option to get back in the workforce sooner rather than later. Time and convenience are obviously a factor considering my family.

I'm also curious how OTAs are doing in IL. What settings are you working in/were you working in out of school? How are your wages?

Suggestions on where to observe/volunteer/shadow are also appreciated.
