I live in Grand Rapids, am considering going to school for optometry, but am hoping some of you optometrists out there can help me out. What does the job outlook look like? I've heard most optometrists can make 94K starting out, on the low end to 140K on the high end. Is that about right? How easy is it to find a job starting out? If you are an optometrist, how do you like the work? I'd appreciate any insight you optometrists out there might have. Thanks!

you better look in the classifieds and talk to optometrists in your area
There are very few jobs as it is over saturated
If you can find work it will probably be in a Walmart or some such
Id stay as far away from it as possible
