I'm 19 and going for my 4 year degree, and am very interested in a career as an optometrist. I wanted to see what optometrists have to say about the job (what they like/what they don't). Looking through the other forums, it seems like California is a tough place to get a job.. I'd be looking to work somewhere in South Carolina/Georgia/Florida/North Carolina (pretty much anywhere in the south)-- So does anyone working here have any suggestions?

Hi Whitney,I'm 20 and its my 3rd year as an optometry student in South Africa. Well, Im also concerned about job opportunities in mr country as well
