What are the top 3 traits or skills every painter must have to excel? Can you suggest any tips or insights to develop your painter expertise? |

take the time to enter a apprenticeship program. it won't guarauntee a job, but you will have a good basic idea, and knowledge of your craft. take on as many side jobs as possible. not only will you get experience with the brush, you'll pocket a few bucks. no job is too small. money=money. there are small companies/individuals who have workshops on faux finishes and the like. it may cost quite a few bucks, but it may give you a leg up. if this is your choice for employemnt, all i can say is, be persistent, hustle, don't give up. there are alot of down times. probably too many. but if you stay with it, do siders, it can work. just stay with it. good luck! |
