I'm a teacher who has worked with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and I can't tell you how many times I've been pooped, peed, and puked on or had some kid slug me in the face or kick me in the gut. I don't think any job is entirely as glamorous as it's made out to be.

Don't forget dealing with horrible parents. I have friends who are teachers who often get cursed at, and receive complaints if the teachers try to address academic and behaviorial problems with the parent(s).

It is very difficult to find decent attorneys/firm to work for. The few that do exist have staff that will never leave because most people know what a toxic environment the legal field can be.

I think staff won't leave because they know there are no jobs out there in the legal field at the moment.
