Thought to provide jobs to Assistants and Assistants to those in need

I have recently been thinking of starting a business to serve both those in the Personal Assistant role by helping them to find an employer that is a match for them along with finding that perfect Personal Assistant to that busy person who doesn't even have the time to interview people for the position. I am not sure if this is something that would be in demand on either end of the spectrum. I am looking for some feedback to determine if this service would be worthwhile for people seeking positions along with those who need assistance. My intention for creating this business is to help Personal Assistance who may be out of work or who are unhappy with their current employer find a position they can be comfortable in. Also I understand how difficult it is to interview numerous people for a vacant position when living such a busy and fast paced life as many business people who need and Assistant do. My hope is too eliminate uncomfortable working situations and help people to find jobs and ease knowing they will be properly taken care of.

Please tell me if you think this will be beneficial to people. I am also open to any suggestions on how I can be a better service to both parties in this endeavor.

Yes. I think this would a great service and one I would love to have right now. I am changing careers from the CG field (partially working as an assistant to CEO and others) to becoming a full on Personal assistant or House Manager. I really want this job to have a personal touch...I would love to REALLY get to know someone and be their right hand to ease their day. The PA field varies so much in what people are looking for that I wish a service (like the one you propose) existed so I could find someone that is looking for a friend, partner in crime, alsmost a family member to help make their days and lives run more smoothly.

Yes I think it would be very beneficial to have a company who could find employment for someone interested in becoming a personal assistant. I have been trying for many years to find this type of employment and have not yet succeeded for the lack of help offered to find this type of work.

Recently I had been toying with the idea of starting my own endeavor and trying at a staffing agency for people like myself. This mainly due to the fact that I am a entreprenurial type person and that my current employers has a lot of connections with executive business people who generally calls me to help them with this or that...which brought me to the staffing solutions. " This entire statement is so wrong on so many levels. Don't leave your "employers" before learning grammar skills. P.S. "entreprenurial" is correctly spelled entrepreneurial.

I hope you have something closer to home. I am presently looking for something like this where I will only have to work for one person. Maybe this is the right job for me, perhaps it will give me the most satisfaction.

I would love something like this. Right now I am a "gopher" at my mothers office and while I don't work for one person I do run errands, go shopping, take calls and set appointments for the staff. I enjoy it but would like it to be more of a one on one thing, assisting one person vs five or six. If you get anything out here in Cali, let me know :)
