I have never worked as anyones personal assistant before but feel I would be the perfect candidate. I go to the end of the earth now, to complete tasks in my personal life, so imagine. I have lots of motavation, and do not have much limititation. The hardest part is finding someone who look beyond a resume and give someone a chance. So that someone can prove to them, and everyone else, that even if you have multiple years of experience for the same position, someone who has none can do the job just as well, if no better. |

To Marcial Rosado Jr- A word of advice: No one in their right mind will hire you as a PA if you openly admit to surfing the web while in a class that you should be paying attention to. |

Anyway, our last hour or so is for us to do as we please as long as we are finished with work. It's a four hour class, just so you know. Thank you |

I stumbled on this website, and your posted response. I am in exactly the same postion. Numerous abilities, and the attitude that no one can match my skills if I could be given the chance. I am searching to begin a career as a Personal Assistant, but the resources are difficult to obtain, since I am not experienced in the field. My organizational abilities are unmatched, and my personal knowledge and skills for to maintain any area of a personal household are an added asset. I am just looking for that chance as you, to prove what I know I can do.

Good luck in your search, it might open more doors for you if you learned to use proper writing skills, correct English, and punctuation. To be a Personal Assistant you need to be able to handle any task, including secretarial needs. |

Ok Shel, I am open to any suggestion or comment, as long as it obtains constructive suggestions. What exactly are you referring to with correct English? Even though my reply was only written in a generic public email format, it was not intended to be used as an English Thesis or letter of intent to an inployer, ooops, employer.

Marcial, If I were looking for a Personal Assistant, I think your title, "Fresh Young Meat" would send me running. I found it ridiculous and unprofessional; even offensive. Please re-think your approach. I do wish you luck and am sure you'll find a great job in time. Take care. Michelle |

I do wish you luck and am sure you'll find a great job in time. Me too!!! Ridiculous, unprofessional, immature, and girl drama. There really is no job as a Personal Assistant (maid, go-getter, dog walker). Try getting a job as a junior secretary and see how well you do. Maybe you can work up to Executive Assistant in a corporate setting. |

Honestly. I might hire you as my assistant.Theres something about your style that I kid and like.. keep trying dont give up. Wow. I think what you like about "something in her style" is she is young, cute and perky - and stupid - and she will be easy to screw - workwise, paywise, and sexually. |

I agree with you Mary, this girl does not realize what she's setting herself up for. Her title makes it appear she is looking for a job in a porn movie or at some "dive" (meat market) nightclub. It's sad this girl does not realize the can of worms she has opened using a title like that. Marcial, be careful....very careful. If I were you I would start over with a new approach, and a professional title. There are all kinds of predators out there, I'm sure you listen to the news occasionally or read the paper? You see stories about horrible things that happen every day, and much is initiated on the Internet. Just recently there was a job listing on Craigslist.com for a nanny, did you hear about that one? I think the poor girl got killed, just for responding to an "innocent" employment ad. Again, be careful! |

Marcial, the very smart thing for you to do is to work in a building, in a corporate setting, where there are other secretaries, assistants. You go to the same place every day. You will be physicially safe. Be sure it's a large corporation so you have federal laws to protect you. In that type of environment you will be less inclined to be taken advantage of. And you will get the opportunity to learn. |

Um, the OP's name is 'Marcial Rosado, Jr.'... I believe that's a male name... which gives a different interpretation to the title of his post. |

Male or female - the same concepts apply. |

Not only do you sound very immature, Marcial, but your spelling and grammar skills are very weak. You may think you have the right mindset to be a PA, but you don't seem to have the skill set or maturity to be one. Good luck. |

Thank you for your correspondence. What type of personal assistant work are you offering? Live-in, live-out arrangements? A full-time position? Would I be working for a family, or single individual? and how much travel, if any, would be involved?
