I am a Michigan native who is looking for employment in personal assisting. I presently assist with film and commercial work with a movie studio. I am looking for someone who needs a assistant to go the extra mile. I am very detail oriented and willing to work as long as it takes. I can run a function of a personal home side, to office work and errands. If I do not know how to do something, I will know how to do it by the end of the day. Michigans economy is tough right now and I know sometimes you have to think outside of the box. I can relocate anywhere. If you need someone who you can rely on please contact me. Otherwise can anyone lead me in the right direction. Thank you

It's good that you already possess some experience in this. The best way to transition into the roll of a Personal Assistant for you right now is to contact production companies who are doing films or TV shows and submit your resume to them. You can find these by getting hold of the Daily Variety (or their on line version) who lists what shows and films are going into production I believe every Thursday. It should list the production company info and you can google them to get more contact info. They love when people want to do production assistant work.

From there, once they see how capable you are, you can then let people know that what you really want to do is to work as a Personal Assistant. If you have good work ethic and it shows, you'll be amazed at how many people will want to refer you.

You can learn more about this at:

www.PersonalAssistantGuide.com, or go to www.amazon.com and search for The Essential Handbook for Personal Assistants

Good luck.
