I signed up with Red Butler as a Basic member and so far, am very impressed. They've booked all my flights, send me recipes, set wake up calls, schedule appointments, and so on. Really, very helpful and I enjoy working with their staff, very friendly and resourceful. I believe I pay $35 per month for a Basic membership. Good luck. |

Wow...I am wholly unimpressed with this site...5 seconds into viewing it, I discovered a blatant typo...no, I would NOT like to have someone "conact" me....I guess that is why my clients are so happy with me....a slip like THAT NEVER would have made it past my watchful eyes! |

I read about Red Butler in Entrepreneur magazine this month, and they look wonderful but I couldn't find their pricing on www.RedButler.com . I checked out a few other options as well but I'd rather work with assistants here in the states. Anyone heard of these guys? I am available for being a personal assistant for a job opening including lots of travel for myself and my boss. I am a paralegal and have many skills to fill this position. I would like to know the details in advance of our meeting. |

I love these guys. Originally had the basic and upgraded to the VIP. Now I hear they released an Elite but it's invite only and way too expensive. I pay $165 a month for the VIP, but the basic membership is only $36 per month. Really enjoying the service if anyone over at RB reads this stuff, thanks! |

Also a member of Red Butler, they're a great company. I was skeptical at first but I too like JoeStern signed up for the VIP and work with the same person at the company. For 165 per month, it beats any full time assistant and/or services that charge hourly. I found this code on their site for anyone who wants to join and save 25% off the 1st month of their membership, code is "lifestyle". Best, KP |

Thank for all the info guys, I'm not looking for work but looking to hire a PA. Please feel free to access my profile and email me if you're looking to provide virtual assistance. I'm considering Red Butler, and the VIP looks good but don' think that their 100 requests is going to be enough. I also took a look at their Elite membership, learned about that "private membership" that apparently has unlimited requests from Thrillist. Has anyone tried this out, pretty expensive. Red Butler Elite
Thanks -

Sam, I took a look at the Red Butler Elite Membership and WOW, you were right! It is VERY expensive! If you are still considering alternatives, I am a virtual assistant in Houston, and I provide virtual concierge services as well as virtual assistant services for small businesses and executives. I also have no minimums for hours used. My clients range from extremely busy solo-preneurs, to can't-sit-still sales reps, to the retired wealthy. I help with personal and business needs, and have an arsenal of references available. If you would like more information or a copy of my resume, please contact me at lissa_derby@hotmail.com. Talk to you soon! Melissa |

I don't know about Red Butler, but if your interested in being an entraprenuer, I could share some information with you about what I do. I just recently started a home based business, and all I do is refer and set up temporary accounts for people who are interested in joining our team. We are partnered with a wonderful company called Melaleuca, they are a Wellness company and their mission is to enhance the lives of those they touch, by helping them reach their goals. In these hard economic times right now, I would recommend this company to everyone. Whether you are looking for a great residual income, a second stream of income, trying to save money for a vacation, etc, the list goes on and on, but their is no risk with this company, and they will help you reach financial freedom. If you are interested in more information, please email me at hazelbrasher@yahoo.com.I hope I have been of some help. God Bless. Hazel |

Hi, My name is Roxanne and I am the owner of My Happy Monday. I have been a virtual/personal assistant for the past two and a half years, with over 20 years total experience, and I love it. Before I started my own business I worked as a clerk in a law firm. In 2005 I graduated from the Minnesota School of Business as a legal secretary. I also went to Robert Morris College in Chicago and studied secretarial sciences. Working for busy people and making their lives easier is a passion for me and I really enjoy all the little tasks that I take care of that may be making my client feel overwhelmed. To see their appreciation is why I do this. I have recently addeded concierge services to my list of services for my clients. I have a wide range of experience working for non-profits, entertainers and everyday small business owners. Please visit me at www.myhappymonday.com for more information. |

This group of responses is really very helpful, thank you all. I've checked out several of your personal assistant websites in consideration for several of my day to day tasks. While I like working with one on one with someone, I found that the majority of my tasks were virtual based and also tried out Red Butler. I must say, they've been incredibly helpful. Again, I think that full service personal assistants that can help create spreadsheets, write up docs, etc... are very important, but still found them costly $12 - $30 per hour. I signed up with Red Butler and pay a flat fee of $165 per month for 100 requests. They are a personal assistant and concierge service, so they make my calls, set appointments and take care of all of my traveling. Now I need someone to do clerical tasks and I'm all set, any ideas? N.V. |

Thanks for your responses everyone ... I'm still with Red Butler and am enjoying the service very much. I haven't found someone to do my clerical tasks, but so far Red Butler has taken great care of me. It's refreshing to work with American staff members, unlike other services out there. And, they really do have contacts with restaurants, especially in NY, LA, & CHI where I live. |

Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone. I signed up for a trial with Red Butler for 5 bucks. I'll let everyone know how it goes. I get to keep the membership card apparently, and that's great cause I travel to NY all the time and love the restaurants that accept the card. |

You should also consider the Mandi to be your personal assistant via Speechphone. I have this service, Mandi screens my calls and routes them to the numbers I provide without me having to purchase another cellphone or manage several voicemail or email accounts. It's only $99 to activate the service and as little as $35 per month. I'd love to offer a free trial to anyone that's interested. |

Hey everyone, lots and lots of options it seems like. I too need an assistant service, but I don't like the idea of outsourcing or using an "automated" receptionist. Red Butler looks like the best choice for me, I think I'll try them out. They seem to offer a "dedicated assistant" at their VIP level. I like reading the requests that they perform on, it's helpful to see what types of things they do. I think their twitter page is www.twitter.com/redbutler If it doesn't work out, I'll be looking for a personal assistant in my area. I might as well have someone nearby that can also run my errands I guess. Thanks for all the tips again! Jessica |

Great links, I learned about Red Butler from their iphone application. I've signed up for the service and it's been fantastic. Really helpful and they go the extra mile for me, which is really what it comes down to for me. The iphone application is free, if you get it before 10/31 I think. |
