Hi, I have recently applied for a got offered a job as pharmacy tech at the local cvs. I have no previous experience as pharmacy tech. This will be my second job (for extra money) as I already have a full time day job. I am just looking for a part time job for extra cash. Would this be a good 2nd job to have? Or is this more of a 'career' position? Thanks!!

If the company hired you as a pharmacy tech you will need to be Nevada State Licensed first or have 1200 pharmacy training first. You could be hired as a clerk but won't be able to count pills, access PHI patient information etc. Please speak with district or pharmacy manager regarding Nevada State Laws and regulations.

I am in a similar situation in that I am looking to do the Pharm Tech thing as a second job. Please let me know how it turns out (and what you did in order to get a callback).
