. These are people that have scratched and clawed their way out of the muck that you are now in an aren’t going back down and won’t be helping you up because you’d become a threat to their value. Most of them have adopted superior attitudes and behaviors that goes along with their ability to wipe their butts all by themselves. These people won’t teach anything just because no one taught them anything or tell you that they told you how to do something already or they say that they are too busy, which may, but probably not be true.

Consider what the organization is designed for (the well being of the patient ) and the environment in which you will work. It’s all about the money! It is Customer Service as always, at your personal expense and abuse. Your management will back the customers point of view always. You will be expected to apologize for everything and to everybody that isn’t satisfied. This includes your supervisors and patients. Being a pharmacy tech concerns your ability to cope with an abusive sometimes toxic environment and working for Peanuts. It isn’t really about the “skills” that you’ll learn to perform in a heartbeat.
