If you are a pharmacy technician and have worked in a pharmacy for almost a year, yet has failed to pay the $30 dollars to become certified by the state . . . what exactly are the consequences here?
For the record, I am NOT that pharmacy technician. I'm certified by my state. However, my co-worker is not and our pharmacist knows about it too.

I'm CPhT certified and went to a Lincoln College of Technology pharmacy tech program (7 months and 1 month internship). I would like to become certified in the state of SC, but my school is not on the list of approved schools necessary for certification. I have a curriculum for my school and it matches the states requirements. Has anyone successfully gotten certified in SC even though they did not attend an approved pharm tech program??? I really don't want to go through the time and expense of another pharm tech program. P.S. I have worked as a tech as well for 1 1/2 years.
Thanks.
