Sure Sidhu ,

Unfortunately iam still in India and in dilemma whether i should go ahead and give the exam or not?
Also one gentleman in Pune suggested that instead of wasting 3-4 lacs for exams, why dont i apply thru one agency which provides student visa which gets converted to work permit later on, that costs around 5-6lacs.
So iam thinking over it as well.

Robert

When you come to Canada you have to get re-certified by Canada - but check with whatever province you plan to try to immigrate to for verification. I was BORN there so I'm a Canadian citizen no matter where I am in the world, contrary to popular Canadian belief and misunderstanding of the difference between Canadian CITIZEN and Canadian RESIDENT. Resident means you're THERE. Citizen means you were BORN there or otherwise, like say born abroad to a Canadian-born parent. Anyway, even BORN there we can't get our education outside Canada and just expect to be able to go back there and start working; the only difference is that if you were born there you'll automatically qualify for government social assistance for the number of years it will take you to get RE-EDUCATED in Canada.

Immigrants to Canada get handed the biggest bunch of BS in the world, being led to believe their qualifications will be accepted in Canada.

dear frnds,
its very hard to get direct job as pharmacy technician in canada specially for D.pharm students. students of b.pharm are eligible to do job directly as pharmacy technician but its quite hard to find. its better to go their on study visa(if u have sufficeint funds).
