I took my pharmacy tech from allied schools. I had no problem learning the pharmacy tech and pharmacy calculation course from home with their online course materials.

Guide

I used to place pharmacy technicians in the Career Services Department of a vocational college for a year and a half or so. If you can get a job now working for Walgreen’s or a similar drug store that is a great first step.

After that you can get career progression by continuing your education, becoming certified, and volunteering in the healthcare industry within a large hospital, so that when you’ve completed all of these things you can start a career as a healthcare Pharm. Tech, where there is more career mobility and growth.
