After, working as a certified/registered pharmacy technician for some years. I came to the conclusion that it's best to go back to school and study criminal justice and get a law degree and I will tell you why. I was thinking about majoring in employment/workplace labor law. -I don't want to stand on my feet all day. -the wages are too low. -I would like to have a decent meal break. - |

Criminal Justice is even a worse idea. Becoming a police officer in this (MA) economy is next to impossible. I tried and gave up on paper, once I realized what would happen. Unless you want to be lawyer. Be prepared to move down south or join the Military if you want a police job. Hospital is slightly better, but not by much if you want to have a family and raise kids. If you get the feeling about a career that it is right and its for you then go for it! I myself would give up a lot of things I own to be a police officer. But it isn't worth it. Plus you get laid off, etc. then the judges are so liberal in this state. Start Small and think big. A couple of my friends started off as campus police officers or part time town police officers. Now some work for the big cities, the state, one even has a law degree. |
