Try Allied Schools. www.pharmacytrainingonline.com/ I am taking online course from allied schools and 200% satisfied with the course. Very easy to learn, good communication with student support, and good study materials. I am so exited to becoming a pharmacy technician in near future. Studying in online was really good choice for me. Good luck! |

Eric, I agree with Asri. I took the home study course through Allied as well and it took me approximately 2 1/2 months to finish the course. I took the PTCE test on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 and passed. The course is in two parts, with the first part being Pharmacy Technician course, and the second part being the Calculations part. Don't try and memorize all the different terms though in the study books. I knew all the definitions and there was not one single question on the test. The test is pretty hard but if you study real hard and make sure you understand all the material and especially the calculations part you should do fine. Also, on the calculations part, if you don't understand how to do any of the problems you can actually print the answers to the problems and see exactly how they are done. That helped me tremendously in learing how to do the calculation problems. Dgreene |
