Guide

The only "free" training is if you qualify for a full grant from financial aid. You need to contact your local community college about it.

Hello LC, my name is Michelle and i know where you can get the phlebotomy training that you will need in order to be successful. Phlebotomy Services( www.phleb.com ), to me, is the best training anyone can get. They offer 1 or 3 day training, even better they offer phlebotomy training online at an even lower price.

If you search around, many phlebotmy training classes can last anywhere from 4-8 months and can cost an arm and a leg. With the phlebotomy Services( www.phleb.com ) youu can get the training you need with your certificate in days.

I hope this information was useful. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Michelle.

you can get Phlebotomy training at Mercy College or Owens Community College, but you need to get your training in a class that has CLINICALS otherwise you will not get hired by any hospital around here, so online courses are not a good bet if you are looking for a job in the area. Truthfully the only one that does the clinicals around here is Mercy college.

if you take the one day workshop will it count towards the amount of hours you have to put into if you go to a community college

I don't think 1 day's training will do the trick! Most states/job requirements REQUIRE a certian amount of hours in class AND clinical training!

A CNA/STNA (Certified Nursing Assistant/State Tested Nursing Assistant)certification is available through different sources (i.e. colleges, Red Cross, and some employers), and the class usually last a little over a month. As far as I know, you are able to work anywhere in the STATE you are certified. You need to retake the certification test for another state if you are planning on going to a different state.

I know Cambridge Medical Institute offers a phlebotomy course that cost $850.00 and that includes everything you need to take your national certification thru the National Phlebotomy Association. The course is 200+ hours with clinicals and they have all types of schedules and payment plans available and financial assistance. They are located at 8160 Baymeadows Way West suite 300 in Jacksonville

I loved it there!

I dont know of anywhere that you can train on the job.. But I start class to tonight in paris tx.. It was on $677.00 & the price of your books... You can also apply for a scholarship for $500.00.. Its only 2 nights a week for the first month & then 1 night a week after... Try somewhere that has continuing education classes...

I am looking for Phlebotomy training and certification programs in Washington state. I'd like to find real training that would provide me with legitimate certification to work in any state in the US (including California and Louisiana).

Nope. I've been considering PIMA because they will set you up with an externship position, but they're danged expensive and I've heard people having problems with them.
