Just curious. Is there anyone in this forum that works for the American Red Cross? I am starting school this week and am interested to know how well they take care of their employees. I have been told that they start you off at $11.05 an hour. If so, I think that is very good. I would like to know if they have medical benefits too? Any info would be appreciated.

Yes I am working with the American Red Cross in North Carolina and they start off with more ten $11.05 hour, they have good benifets but you need to be aware of the unstedyness of the work hours it requires a lot of travel time and all types of hours.

I am about 6 weeks from finishing phlembotomy classes and i would like to know if there are any position available in my area if so where can i apply. also should i wait until i take the examine before i apply

I finished a phlebotomy class in May trying to find a company that will let me do my clinicals with them I haven't had any luck yet.

I'm starting phlebotomy class next week. I would like to be prepared with a immediate job as soon as I'm done. Quest Diagnostics needs 1yr exp.. I'm from Connecticut and is looking for employment by May. What are my oppositions?
