I completed my Phlebotomy training course (240 hours) at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, NC about two months ago and have just now gotten to where I'm able to search for a job in the Phlebotomy field.
Now, something I heard about during the class was a traveling phlebotomist job different from the ones I've seen offered online. I'm fairly certain it's a contractor or something along those lines, but the whole idea is that the employee moves anywhere in the USA and works as a full-time phlebotomist for 12-13 weeks, much like a travel nurse or OT.
This is the job I'm interested in, but I'm not sure how to go about finding one! What should I search, where should I look?
For the record, I'm starting the process to get ASCP certified today, so that would mean I can work anywhere in the USA, right? Save California and Louisiana, which apparently require licenses instead of a training course or certification?
