I work for numerous companies including Superior Mobile Medics, Portamedic, Exam One, Hooper Holmes...you name it...put your resume out on monster.com, I've been found for free-lance stuff like wellness exams that companies offer their employees and flu shot clinics...I keep plenty busy and I live in North Dakota! You might try Amazon.com...I looked on line for an EKG macine and they have used and new equipment. Some of the paramedical companies will loan their equipment. Good Luck to you...Susan

What type of experience is needed to work as a Mobile Phlebotomist/ Mobile Examiner? I have 6 months experience not counting the experience gained from class & my externship. I haven't been able to find any type of Phlebotomy position. I'm currently doing volunteer work.

I have worked for portamedic for 6 months,they are a really good company to work for, but they don't keep you that busy. So you will probably have to get a part time job also.

I looked into Portamedic and was offered a position but by the time you pay for your gas @ $4/gallon and buy or rent the equipment I can't see where you make anything at all. It actually looks like I would lose money.
