Well, first off, you need to go back to first grade and take a grammar class. After that, you can work on getting your phlebotomy certification. Good luck.

Some people get excited and don't realize they are free writing. I am sure after some reflection she had seen what you are commenting on. There are Health Fairs that would be willing to have Phlebotomist to help and that is the easiest way to receive your needed sticks.

I am in the same position you are in. I graduated in July and am still looking for work here in Virginia. After the interview they contact me and say they have hired someone with more experience or after they receive my resume they say I don't qualify because of my lack of experience. It is very frustrating, I also want to know if nobody will give you a chance how are you suppose to get that experience. If you find an answer to that queation please let me know.

your right it's hard tp find that job right now, there always looking for experience,i'm really disappointed for taking the Phlebotomy course, i had a license, but i didn't able to use it, but i had another job in retail store as phto specialist,my suggestion is, try to find or just do as an independent mobile phlebotomist, they pay you per patient, i did that before for 3mons. but i stopped, bec. i'm having a hard time for my work schedule, but it's fun, you will have your own time & no boss, just go online & type in as mobile phlebotomy, goodluck & God Bless.

I have a Phlebotomist Technician Certification, and never can find a job PERIOD. It would be nice if someone gave me the oppunitity to show my skills. I think its so messed up how we go to school to better ourselves but any company won't hire us. It makes me feel like I did this for nothing. How are we suppose to move forward in life but we are not given cahances. Just think about it!!!!!!!

I agree with what you both said. It is impossible it seems just to find something even know your already in the field. I'm a respiratory therapist that wanted to go back to school to get my degree for P.A.. so I quit what I was doing. Went back to school for phlebotomy so that I would have time to get my degree. I have done multiple ABG punctures and some phlebotomy before you had to be state lisenced. I am stat lisenced now for phlebotomy, and even know I have some experience. You have to have current experience or no one will give you a chance!!!

THAT'S GOOD THAT HE FOUND YOU A JOB BUT I THINK IT'S MESSED UP THAT WE GO TO SCHOOL FOR A BETTER OPPURTUNITY/PAY AND GET MESSED OVER AND AROUND. WHAT'S THE USE OF GOING TO SCHOOL IF THE HIRING MANAGERS WON'T GIVE US A CHANCE. SO THE QUESTION IS, WHAT SHOULD WE DO ABOUT THAT AND WHO DO WE TALK TO.

well, when you pass your test you lcensedthat the purpose of taking the course. you renew your license every year and take a mini course of 14 hours to keep tour license renewed. I went to job corp in Memphis Tn, to recieve my license in 2008 and haven't found a job yet. But don't give up hope something will happen just keep your head up, don't listen to negative language, do your own research.

Hello Muna, I just started working and I am having phlebotomy issues. I need to get certified, I can prepare everything but somehow I just won't proceed... I have my MA Certificate, and worked for a urology office, 6 years. So I really never got the phlebotomy experience and didn't need to use it at the urology office. As of this time, I am working in a practicioner's office and I can tell you that my issue is more of a "perfection" kinda' deal, and in order to stick a patient, I need to know the containers names, their reasons for sizes, the why's, the what's, the how's... etc. IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A PLACE WHERE THEY TRAIN, OR CERTIFY, please let me know!
Thank you in advance, God Bless You!
