I'm a new grad from a physiotherapy program in Australia (DPT) and I'm looking to get licensed in the state of California. I have already submitted my coursework to a foreign credentialing service and I should be getting those results back by the second week of February. I have yet to sit the exam (shooting for March). I'm looking for a place that can offer me 1) a job as an aide, etc. while I wait to sit the exam and 2) will be able to provide the required period of clinical supervision by a certified clinical instructor once I've passed. I would like to remain in Northern California, if possible, but am willing to relocate if it's financially feasible. Thanks!

That was a bit uncalled for. So much for the American Dream and cultural sharing. And I am one of those unemployed Americans, by the way. Born and raised in California along with three generations before me. Studied at the University of Michigan and the University of Hawai'i. I continued my studies overseas to broaden my outlook and educational experience. I moved back in the face a a depressed economy to help take care of my aging grandparents.

I'm not sure I am navigating this site correctly; could "Cat in Danville" please let me know if she has rec'd my response to her job inquiry? Thanks, Pamela Serafine, ridgephysicaltherapy@comcast.net, www.ridgetherapy.com
