I just want to ask those who are travelling therapists especially those who are working in FL about non-taxable allowances that your company is giving you. Is housing allowance taxable?

Hi Anna,
I own a travel company and can tell you that non-taxable allowances are allowed for housing within the IRS guidelines if you meet certain criteria. I always encourage my therapists to speak with their accountant, but my understanding is that:

If you have a permanent tax home where you are paying rent or mortage then you should qualify.
