foreign trained american citizen looking to move back home

I am a licensed physical therapist in Sweden, graduated June 2007. I have acquired a little work experience, but the work market here is extremely difficult for newer grads. From what I understand, not all states require licensure for PTA's. I would be very interested in working as a PTA, or even as an aide, so that I can get my foot in the door and have an income while going through the process of getting my license as a PT. As mentioned in the title, I am an american citizen, so I obviously do not need to be sponsored for visa. I simply need a job so that I can go about the business of getting my license. I am willing to entertain working pretty much anywhere in the U.S. Thank you.
