Hello. I am strongly considering the Physical Therapist Assistant program that is offered in my state. I will possibly be moving out of state with my fiance after the program, so will it be worthwhile to take the test in Michigan in case of not moving? I guess what I am trying to ask is: if I take the licensing exam in Michigan, and move to a different state, would I still be considered licensed in that different state?

.... or will I have to again retake the test in that different state to be considered licensed there?

No, you don't have to retake the Licensure exam again. All you have to do is take the exam once and then apply for a license in any state. You can request that your exam scores be sent to many states to get many licenses at the same time.

Remember, it's a national exam so it's good in any state.
Good luck.
