Do PTA have the responsibilities of the PT Aide if there is no Aide on staff i.e. prep work, cleaning up any messes that may occur? I was told by someone that he knows of two people who did the PTA program & after two or three weeks in the work feild they quit & went back to school to become PT's. The reason was they got stuck holding colonic bags, cleaning those with involentary movements etc. prep work & clerical or administrative duties and did little theraputic exercise, electro stim, massage etc.

I am very interested in in the later, however I had trouble cleaning my kids diapers & I am not looking forward to changing anymore unless I have another surprise! I am particularly interested in the Home HEalth area of the feild...

Any info on actual job description would be very helpful in me making my decision.
