Will PTA demand remain or dwindle away?

Hello everyone. I'm looking to make a transition from Information Technology to Healthcare and was thinking about a PTA program. I've read many of the posts on the forums and am impressed with the lifestyle, setting, salary, etc. One bit of concern that I have is how long will the demand last? I joined IT because of the increased demand, and now have seen it dwindle away. Dental Hygiene has the same issue. Does anyone in the field have an idea of the demand and if schools are meeting the demand or are they churning out the same amount of grads (which is great for people getting into the profession!).
