googlenerd in Morehead, Kentucky said: I just had an interview at the University of Kentucky PA program (MSPAS), two days ago. It wasnt that bad at all! Had to wait for a few hours though because of the number of applicants. I was asked probably 7 questions in an interview that lasted between 10-15 minutes.
"Why do you want to be a PA?"
"What are your personal strengths that you could bring to the healthcare team?"
"What experience have you accumulated since you submitted CASPA application?"
"Think of your favorite professor, describe them and their personality and professional traits? How might that apply to this proffesion?"
"Would you be comfortable with the more grotesque aspects of the career? How do you think you could handle diagnosing and counseling patients with terminal illnesses?"
"How would you go about recommending a risky treatment such as chemotherapy for a patient? What would be your rationale for making a tough decision?"
"Why not MD, or NP?"
Good luck to everyone! Trust yourselves during your interviews and be confident! It's not that bad of an experience, quite rewarding to have been selected for an interview and you should be very proud of yourselves.
