Anyone take an online course for their Organic Chem requirement? My school dropped the course the day I was schedule to begin and now I am scrambling for a course so that I can start school in June. Thanks!

I dont know of any online courses but you may want to look at St petersburg Community College (if you go there try to get in with Musgrave....hes a GREAT instructor), Hillsborough Community College and I woudl even try registering with USF as a non-degree or transient student and take it there.

The only downfall with USF is courses are normally in the day and you have to wait until like the day before classes start to register....they want to make sure their students get a seat first.

The good thing is that someone usually drops within the first week of add/drop, bad thing is you fall behind, good thing is you may be able to get an override and not miss any days if the class is full, bad thing is you may not.

Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

Hi Benjamin,

The University of New England does offer a variety of courses online, including Organic Chemistry I and II. They also offer general chem and biology courses for anyone who needs to pick up those pre-reqs as well.

Hope this helps!
