PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OR NURSE PRACTITIONER

SALARY/BENEFITS: Extremely competitive salary, retirement plan, medical,two weeks vacation, 10 paid Holidays, Annual Performance Bonus/Raise.

FORMAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A degree or certificate certified by NCCPA PA); board certification as a Family NP; graduation from an accredited training program, educational college or university; minimum of two years experience as a practicing provider in the last three years. (Residency
time counts.)

LICENSE/REGISTRATION: License or certification from any U.S. jurisdiction.

SPECIFIC DUTIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Perform chart reviews and attend medical staff meetings as part of the normal workday, providing treatment for a minimum of 25 patients per day.

Provide initial emergency medical care required to any civilian, military,or military beneficiary requiring it in life-threatening situations.

Interview patients, diagnose illnesses, prescribe treatments and medicine,perform minor surgery, and refer patients to military or civilian hospitals for more complex medical problems, providing comprehensive and continuing
health and medical care services e.g. diagnosis, prevention, therapy,maintenance and rehabilitation.

Write prescriptions for medications.
Complete medical records, forms and documents.
Perform full range of internal medicine services including diagnosis and treatment of urgent/acute diseases/injuries.
