Hi Everyone, I am looking for some helpful information. I have my BSBA through Walden University. Now I am very interested in pursuing my P.A. Degree with Nova University in Orlando. Has anyone graduated from Nova? or Attending Nova University in the P.A. Program? What is the length, Pre-Reqs and all that good stuff.

just as a friendly fyi, it's not called a "P.A. degree" it's a M.M.S. (Master of Medical Science) - they have all pre-req.'s & info. on their website: www.nova.edu/pa/orlando/admissreq.html

good luck!

I currently attend the program. It's 27 months, with 1 year didactic and 1 year rotations. Those with bachelor's degrees probably have a better shot at getting in, though I don't think it's required. The pre-reqs include several science courses, the GRE, and at least 1000 hours of medical experience. Look on the website for exact pre-req classes. I'm in the second class, and they're in the process of gaining full accreditation this year.

I am attending the program currently and just wanted to add that you do not need health care experience, but if you do it only adds to your application.
