Taking Pre-Reqs at Community College--does it affect your application?

Hello,

I recently graduated from a 4 year institution and planning on taking pre-reqs at a community college to save money. I know each school is different, but I would like to get a general consensus regarding this issue.

I was also wondering if anyone knew whether PA schools "frown" upon retaking more than a couple of courses.
