Hi, Im 26 and Im in school getting a B.S in cardiovascular technology so I can be a cardiac sonographer. I will be done with courses next year and then I do an internship. I know PA schools require that you have health care experience, but how many years should I work as a cardiac sonographer before I apply to a PA school? Do PA programs require that you go to school full time?
Is it harder to get into PA master degree program versus an associates or bachelors PA program? I want to specialize in cardiology or pediatrics is it tough to get into these specialties? Lastly, do most schools require the GRE or MCAT or both and what is usually a good range of scores for these tests? I probably won’t apply to top schools because I know it will be extremely competitive, but definitely mid level schools.
Thank you in advance for answering my questions.
