I was going to apply to Miami Dade then realized they only offer an associate's degree. I can imagine that's a huge difference in job opportunities or pay. That's all I know. I marked them off my list. |

You can purchase a subscription to US news and they do rank PA programs, but only those who offer the MS |

Miami Dade is an accredited physician assistant program. As long as you pass the certification test and become board certified that is the only thing that really matters. My program was an associates, I like most of my classmates had bachelor degrees I bridged to a masters degree online through the University of Nebraska. Don't cross them off your list, Stanford University in California program only offers a certificate and a online bridging to a masters. So the name of the school is not alway a deciding factor in getting a good job. Good luck to you. |

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ASSOCIATE PA YOU ARE EITHER A CERTIFIED PA OR NOT! FOR MOST OF THE 2 YEAR PROGRAM YOU HAVE TO ALREADY HAVE A 4 YEAR DEGREE FROM ANY FIELD, AND FOR THE BACHELORS ROUTE IT TAKE FOUR YEARS I BELIVE TO COMPLETE AT THE END WHAT MAKES YOU A PA IS THE CERTIFICATE. |
