I am a recent graduate within the past year with my bachelors degree in Construction Management. I have a friend who is a pipefitter and willing to get me hired on as his helper. I am interested in this sector of work, but curious as to a timeline for advancement to a management position. With my degree, how long does anyone see it taking me to make it to a superintendent/management position? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
