Hi guys i am new to this,i have read almost all ur comments and questions,
I would like to share some common info like getting jobs in piping,PDS or learning PDS from which institute,as i have seen most of the comments are on this.
I would like to tell u first of all there are no institute in India which will give u full knowledge of Piping,all the notes of piping design flowing all over india is copied from IIT Mumbai,this institute guys just put their fancy logos and name.

Regading PDS i would like to suggest dont go to any institute and learn PDS,find out some guys who teach PDS at home,bcoz u can get indivual attention,as if u go to any institute,they will give u 1 pc max for 3 hr or 1 pc and 3 guys,just imagine tht.Any how they do this 4 money not a charity.

Geting job in piping ,PDS,PDMS for fresher and experienced guys have become tough now a days.Bcoz i know 1 guys who was a welder now he is a PDS designer in dubai earning more than 10000 AED just imagine his piping knowledge and routings,and in other case i have friends who have 10+ exp in PDS piping and is job less now bcoz of recession,and its very sad if ur married and have children and u dont have job 4 8 months.So first of all good luck,good contact and references,good design knowlege.As per present senario of market ,no company is recruiting Piping Or PDS guys with less than 8 yrs exp,so i hope u guys must have got tht,bcoz learning PDS ,investing money and again waiting 4 job tht a big deal.There are many field which u can choose like marketing in OIl and Gas sector both on Piping and sofware,they get awesome pay in Middle east market and u can travel all over the world.This is the fact going on in the market.So if i have hurt any 1 i apologise 4 writing this all.So cheers guys have best luck 4 future.

Hi Sampath, Imagegrafix is too tooo expensive, Just for Caesar-II (Static) they are charging 25K and for another 30K for Caesar-II(Dynamics),so totally 55k for Caesar , Purely ridiculous ,And they are not flexible in time. In Chennai itself some other institutes also taking Cassar-II for less than 12K, but I am not sure about the quality. I know there are many good institutes in Hyderabad and Pune, those are good in syllabus and cheap in course fees.
But currently I don’t have much leave to go there and do, so I prefer Chennai, Pls suggest me a good institution with reasonable course fees.

Pipe bends are just that. Bent pipe. The process has to be done corectly or the inner edge of the pipe will deforme, also, the outer side edge of the pipe will streach, and weaken, making it possible to fail under high pressure.

Using fittings such as elbows gets the job done and are stronger.

No flat turns in the pipe rack or pipeway!
Doing so will block future installations.

No piping across platforms where someone can trip over it.

If it's a large, hot pipe, it's going to move around.
Pipe shoes and guides are necessary.

answer : pipe is a tube which dimensions are according to ASME 36.10M ( For Seamless or wrought steel pipes) or ASME 36.19M standards (for SS pipes).

if u say pipe eg 2" than its actual outside diameter will be 60.3mm
where as when u say eg 2" tube,than its actual outside diameter will be 50.8mm

HI Anish, If you want to do PDMS along with Piping basic course then IPEBS is fine.
Its not a good decision to choose IBEPS only for PDMS.

you can do advance diploma in piping engineering basically for fresher

you can do it in imagegrafix engineering services
