I think that you'll see that Police jobs will remain constant for the most part. As some smaller towns are downsizing, larger cities remain fairly constant in their numbers. The Federal jobs have been creating more jobs with the creation of the TSA jobs etc and the terrorism response. In the Phila area, the numbers remain constant. Just keep applying, it will happen!

Jobs in Florida are certainly there.
Seen a lot in the Southwest as well.

Suggestion: pick 10 or 12 cities and find the police department or sheriff website for that area and see what they have.
