Project Engineering has changed over the last few years and unless you already have experience in a particular industries projects, I suggest these three tips.

1) Get certification training in project managment, online is fine and will take less than a year. This will teach Project Managment protocols and methods that will be expected from an employer.

2) Choose the industry first, such as HVAC or construction or perhaps facility. Every facility such as chemical, power plant and lots of others that have large boilers have a yearly shut down for projects that need to be managed.

3) Get up to speed on Project Managment organizations you can join, that is where you will learn and find jobs.
