In san dieg there is growing trend for RRT. More and more hopitals are making this a standard/requirement. But with your experince it will help. Also you might want to look into long term vent facilities.

HELP PLEASE!......I have been looking for RT work for 6 month and have got no luck.. I have tried applying online, gone door to door at hospitals and even apply out of state for rt work and have gotten no answer. Most of the hospital and long term facility need me to have 1 to 2 years experience, the only experience i have is during clinical. how am i to have experience if no one would give me a chance to work. I am a very dedicated person, hard working and always willing to work. Please anyone, please if you know of a facility that is willing to give me a chance to work or even volunteer please let me know. Thank you! God Bless.

yes! u make a point, but i took some time off because i was pregnant and was pretty ill during the pregnancy and after.

CCSD California College of San Diego. There have been many issue's with the school, many students have not been able to pass the crt test and now the school is on probation. My fellow classmate have stated that many facilities refuse to hire them because of the bad experience they had with the school and students. I am concern I'll never have a chance to work as a RT. Please advise, what should I do? Some of your comment and advise have been so encouraging.
