Hello everyone, I will be graduating from my RT program in June and I am curious to my military medicine options? Mainly will my civilian credentials as a CRT/RRT get me into a military medicine program for Respiratory Therapy? Secondly, will I be able to keep my civilian credentials current while serving in the military? Thanks in advance for any information!

I was curious about this, too - hoping that if I couldn't find a job after college, that I could go straight into a military job as an RT. I emailed an army recruiter and was told that I'd *still* have to go through their school for RTs.

Besides that, I don't know anything. You can definitely send them an email, though. She answered every question I had (although I can't remember what else I asked).
