Well, you should have at least 800-1000 clinical hours from rotations while completing your respiratory care program, right?

I did finish 840 clinical hours from rotations while completing my respiratory care program. I also listed what I did during the intership in detail on myresume. by the way ,I have 8+ years experince in respiratory care in Korea, I was a medical doctor there. But sb told me that my Korean experience means nothing for American hospital, I am worrying about it.

On your resume list each hospital you did your clinical rotation & provide a brief description of what you did. For instance: PFT - what techniques were used, name of equipments, how long, etc.

I did this and a couple of the hospitals were impressed with the knowledge I gained during my rotation. Also ask some of your instructions if they would be willing to be a reference for you.

Are you willing to temporarily relocate in Southern California?
Loma Linda University Medical Center (known for the baby faye and baboon heart transplant) has a residency program that will give you loads of experience you can take anywhere after three years.
