Although the requirements may differ with each institution, having a Respiratory Degree and State Licensure should enable you to work in a Pulmonary Lab.

Hi jsmaxims@hotmail.com in Belchertown,MA,

I have to disagree with the comment made by Rolinda in Chula Vista of Cali. The reason being behind why you don't need to have a CPFT credential is because all of the credentials the NBRC has been providing for more than a decade,it is all for profit and propaganda. It is all a piece of crap except the CRT credential. The RRT credential, however, is also a waste of time and money for having crappy credential. You can work anywhere you want in any department by just having the CRT credential. The mandate of implementing to use the special credentials should come from NBRC , but instead the implementation is left to the individual hospital employer's discretion. Imagine for more than a decade across United States still using CRT and so hang up with the CRT credential.

Yeah, please read my comment again. In a nut shell, I basically said the same thing.

Attend The Kettering CPFT Review Seminar and study the material they provide.
